Seasonal Pest Service Information
The information below is an outline of the different services we provide each season. Each visit is fully customized to your home and your needs as a homeowner.
Spring Service
Stop the invasion of ants, spiders, wasps, yellow jackets and other pests that may enter your home from the outside. EnviroPest’s exterior protective barrier will prevent these pests from migrating into your home.
Summer Service
Our summer service will target seasonal stinging insects and prevent them from nesting in or around your home and under your decks and patios. We will also pay special attention to areas where fleas, earwigs, spiders, cluster flies and ants invade or nest and treat them at the source.
Fall Service
During the Fall season is when insects and rodents enter your home. This service is concentrated on the outside of your home to keep pests from entering during the winter season.
An Inside Inspection is made as well to determine what preventative treatments will be used for both insects and rodent activity that we encounter.
Winter Service
Our winter service will concentrate on the interior areas of the home and identify any pests that have entered. Treatments will be used for the pest activity that is encountered.

At EnviroPest, we've created our own method of service which we call Environmental Pest Management (EPM). EPM is an environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common sense practices. EPM uses current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interactions with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, with the least possible hazard to people, property and the environment.

Understanding pests' needs is essential to implementing EPM. Pests seek habitats that provide basic needs such as air, moisture, food and shelter. Pest populations can be prevented or controlled by creating inhospitable environments, by removing some of the basic elements pests need to survive, or by blocking their access into structures. Pests may be managed by other methods such as traps, vacuums, or organic and eco-friendly products. EnviroPest will become your partner in identifying maintenance and sanitation opportunities which will minimize the need for product applications.
EPM consists of a cycle of inspecting, identifying, monitoring, evaluating and selection of the appropriate control methods. Routine inspection and accurate identification of pests are vital steps in EPM to insure control methods will be effective. Once the pest is identified and the source of activity is pinpointed, habitat modifications such as exclusion, repair or sanitation efforts will greatly reduce the prevalence of the pest. Information gained through a continuous monitoring program is evaluated to determine whether the action threshold has been exceeded and what can be done in the way of prevention.
