  • Bed bugs are a hitchhiking bug. They get in our belongings and they get in our clothes when we are away from home, and they hitch a ride home with us when we return.

  • Bed bugs aren't only in hotels and motels. They can be picked up in taxis, buses, trains, planes, and other forms of public transportation. They can be picked up in movie theaters, libraries, and other public places as well.

  • Bed bugs are not attracted to filth, they are attracted to blood, and they can be found in the nicest, 5-star luxury hotels.

  • You can get bed bugs from spending the night at a friend's or relative's house.

  • You can get bed bugs if your kids do a sleep over.
