The black widow spider is one of the most common spiders in Colorado. Doesn’t that give you the creeps? They are most prevalent when insect levels are at their highest during the summer months, but can be found in basements and attics all across Colorado in the winter as well. Black widow spiders are so scary looking; if one were to creep out into your view, you may very well be terrified.
Spiders are a foe to many with their creepy crawly legs and their ability to show up speedily and unannounced. While spiders in their own habitat, outdoors, seem less threatening, when they make their way inside your home it’s a whole new ball game. Yes, spiders appreciate your comfy cozy home just as much as you do. If you have these unwelcomed guests come into your home, tension can arise. Even worse, if one evening you see a spider crawling along the wall, couch, or bed, and it scurries away from your reach before it can be captured, you may find yourself sleeping with one eye open.
Like city zoning, pest control is something that must be enforced continually. If someone came into your neighborhood and tried to build a skyscraper, what would happen? They wouldn't get very far, would they? That is because there are authorities that continually monitor to make sure that all zoning ordinances are followed. The same is necessary for pest control.
