Are Termites Lurking On Your Property?
May 14, 2010
Melissa Hamel
If you have ever experienced a termite problem you know how destructive these insects are. Unfortunately termites are often overlooked by unsuspecting property owners and may result in extensive structural damage, not to mention costly repair bills. At EnviroPest we understand how harmful these wood destroying insects can be. That’s why we encourage property owners in Denver and surrounding areas to learn the potential signs of termite activity as well as what to do if termites are discovered.
Termites are experts at maintaining low profiles while they do their damage. Even though you don’t see them, or the conditions that attract them, it doesn’t mean that they are not present on your property. Here are a few warning signs that termites may be lurking in or around your home or business:
- Swarming termites
- Small mud tubes
- Insect wings
- Dead termites
- Small holes in wood
- Crumbling drywall
- Sagging doors or floors
